World Of Warcraft Costumes Created For Blizzcon

Frank Ippolito’s team and Tested are giving us an inside look at how these Murloc cosplays where created.  Frank is a special effects artist located in Los Angeles, California.

The Murlocs were created by Blizzard entertainment, the company that created World of Warcraft. In Blizzard’s latest extension pack, Hearthstone, you will find these “angler fish” type characters in their new role as messenger boys.

The costumes seen in the video were hand sculpted out of clay, moulded using Smooth-On EpoxAmite and Free Form AIR epoxies, and cast using foam latex.

Simpact® 85A urethane rubber was used for the Murloc’s teeth, which were then coated using UreCoat® or Urebond® II.
