Simpact™ 80A
Tough, Fast Setting Urethane
Simpact™ 80A urethane is a low odour, fast-setting urethane elastomer which offers very high tear strength, impact resistance and wear resistance. Simpact™ urethanes are phthalate free, mercury free and MOCA free. Simpact™ urethanes pour easily. Working time is 15 minutes, handling time is 4 hours and full cure time is 48 hours at room temperature.
Cured rubber has exceptional performance characteristics and dimensional stability. Simpact™ urethanes can be coloured with SO-Strong™ or Ignite™ colourants. Simpact™ urethanes are suitable for making impact resistant props, prototypes and display pieces.
CAUTION: Simpact™ 80A is is for industrial use only. With adequate local exhaust ventilation, respiratory protection is not normally required when using this product. Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate, follow OSHA respirator regulations and European Standards EN 141, 143 and 371. Protective clothing (gloves and long sleeves) is required to minimize the risk of dermal sensitization. If breathing is affected or a dermal rash develop, immediately cease using this product and seek medical attention. Read SDS before using.
